Our Half Banners
are reserved for our featured subscribers. They are are placed at the top of
our Home Page and on a couple of our secondary pages (Lodging and Charters), and are posted annually. All Half Banners
come with a rotating ad on the top right of the page and a large banner listed alphabetically below.
Rotating ad? What does that mean? That means that however many advertisers we have will rotate in each position - the top, the middle and the lower positing - all of which are visible when anyone visits the page. So, if we have 4 advertisers on the home page, and you're one of them, your ad will show up, in the top position, every fourth time anyone visits the home page; it will show up, in the second position, every fourth time anyone visits the home page; and it will show up in the third position every fourth time anyone visits the page. So, 75% of the time, your ad will show up in one of the three positions. If we have six advertisers, your ad will show up in one of the three positions 50% of the time.
The same numbers and percentages applies to our half banners on our secondary pages.
